How to do it, step by step
- Sit down and set the pad on your thighs.
- Grip the bar wider than your shoulders, or use a V-handle with palms facing each other.
- Pull toward your upper chest, driving your elbows down and back.
- Return with control until your arms are straight.
Common mistakes
- Pulling the bar behind your neck.
- Leaning too far back.
- Pulling only with your arms.
