How to do it, step by step
- Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat, close to your hips.
- Brace your abs and squeeze your glutes.
- Lift your hips until your body forms a straight line from shoulders to knees.
- Hold for a second at the top and lower slowly.
Common mistakes
- Arching your lower back instead of lifting with your glutes.
- Placing your feet too far away, which shifts the work to your hamstrings.
- Dropping down quickly.
